The Observatorio Cuidadano de los Sanmiguelenses A.C. (OCSMA) is a non-profit, democratic, inclusive, and participatory organization whose objective is to preserve and improve the quality of community life.
Our mission is to achieve just and ethical agreement between municipal decisions and the challenges presented by today’s ecological, social, cultural and material environment. To do so we engage in ongoing monitoring, analysis, discussion, and evaluation of local government’s policies and practices. Our actions are informed by ethical, legal, technical, and scientific principles. All OCSMA activities are apolitical.
OCSMA is incorporated under Mexican law, within the republican and democratic principles and rights conferred by the Mexican constitution.
